Welcome to the website of MC Remodeling & Cleaning LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing our website, requesting a quote, or engaging our services, you ("Client", "you", or "your") agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas.
1. Estimates and Quotes
Non-Binding Estimates: All quotes, estimates, or pricing detailed via this website, email, or text message are preliminary estimates only. They do not constitute a final binding contract. Final project costs may vary based on actual on-site measurements and project specifications.
Hidden or Pre-existing Conditions: MC Remodeling & Cleaning LLC is not responsible for any pre-existing or hidden damages discovered during the course of work (including, but not limited to, mold, water damage, structural defects, pest infestations, or non-compliant electrical/plumbing installations done by prior owners). If hidden damages are uncovered, work may be paused, and a new estimate will be issued to cover the necessary repairs.
Expiration: All digital or written estimates are valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issuance due to fluctuating material costs and availability. After 30 days, the Company reserves the right to adjust pricing.
2. Deposits, Payments, and Cancellations
Project Deposits: For major remodeling projects, the Company requires an initial deposit ranging from 30% to 50% of the total estimated project cost. This deposit must be paid in full before material purchasing and on-site work begin.
Non-Refundable Deposits: In the event that the Client cancels the project after a deposit has been paid, the deposit is strictly non-refundable. This covers costs incurred for specialized material purchases, administrative overhead, and the reservation of project dates on our schedule.
Late Fees: Payment milestones (interim and final payments) must be paid according to the schedule outlined in the specific project agreement. Late payments are subject to late fees and may result in an immediate pause of all on-site work until the balance is cleared.
Refunds for Services: Since MC Remodeling & Cleaning LLC provides custom labor and remodeling services, all completed work and milestone payments are strictly non-refundable. If you are unsatisfied with any part of our service, you must notify us before the final project walkthrough, and our team will work to correct it according to our workmanship standards."
3. Scope of Work & Change Orders
Written Adjustments Only: Any additions, deviations, or modifications to the original project scope requested by the Client (commonly known as "Change Orders") must be approved in
writing (via written contract amendment, email, or text message) before any extra work begins.
Price Adjustment: Verbal agreements for extra work will not be recognized. Every Change Order will include a corresponding price adjustment that will be added to the final invoice.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Texas law, MC Remodeling & Cleaning LLC, its owners, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits or disruptions, resulting from pre-existing property conditions, unforeseen structural issues, or delays beyond our reasonable control (such as material shortages or weather). Our total liability for any claim arising out of our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client to the Company for the specific scope of work in question.
